Sinuslifting (also called maxillary sinus floor augmentation, sinus graft, sinus augmentation or sinus procedure) is a surgical procedure that aims to increase the amount of bone in the posterior maxilla (= in the area of the upper premolars and molars) through the sinus membrane (from Schneider) lifting and placing a bone graft (usually artificial bone with PRF) underneath.

The goal of the sinus lift is to transplant extra bone into the maxillary sinus so that more bone is available to place implants afterwards.
